Halim embraced Homoeopathic practice throughout his long Professional career strictly on the principal of this medicine. During the whole period of his practice he Served and took care of needy an poor people he was also associated with socio-religious work .
He rendered exemplary service as a member in the Bihar state board of homoeopathic Medicine, Patna being nominee of the state government.

Dr. Jamil Ahmad Moazzami has passed DHMS in 1983 and later on post graduated in Homoeopathy and took M.D.(HOM). He was also M.Sc. in Zoology.
The Translate his dream of achieving excellence in Homoeopathic education. Dr. Jamil Ahmad Moazzami established the institution called Dr. Halim Homoeopathic Medical College, A renowned institute with a sprawling campus in lush green environment on beside of river Bagmati , Darbhanga famous town of Mithila region, Bihar. It confers degree to the budding doctors in the field of Homoeopathic at under graduated level.
Dr. Jamil Ahmad Moazzami served as founder Secretary and founder Principal till his death. He was nice gentleman acceptable in multi-faced society he was a member of Rotary club of Mithila, Darbhanga and served as a secretary of the club in 2009/10. He was also a member of Swami Vivekanand Cancer Hospital, Darbhanga Club, Madarsha Imdadia and red cross society.
